Call Routing for Extension:
- Here you can set up the call route for your extension.
- When a call gets to your extension it can go through the following 5 steps.
- You can set the schedule of the extension, route the call to a terminal, forward the call to another extension, forward the call to external numbers and set your voicemail notification.
- If you move your mouse over the icons next to every step's title a pop-up window will show your current settings for that step. You can modify your settings by clicking on the steps' titles.
Set up your schedule for each day of the week when you want to receive calls on your extension. If your schedule is disabled and you want it to be that way, you will receive calls 24/7. If you set up a schedule, during business hours the call will pass to the next step of your call routing and after business hours your calls will go directly in your voicemail.
Manage your extension greeting, upload your promotional message, personal greeting or just music. Extension greeting will be played during extension access. After playing it, the call will be connected to your extension.
If your company's phone system has terminals integrated, here you can set up calls to reach any terminal you want. If you route the call to a terminal and the call is not answered, the call will pass to the next step of your call routing (see step 3).
This step is to forward the call to another extension of your company. If you choose to forward your call to another extension the call routing on this extension will be terminated and continue on the call routing of the extension you choose to forward to.
Forward to external number permits you to choose up to 15 numbers you would like your incoming calls to be routed to, grouped on 5 categories by priority. Each category allows up to 3 numbers, registered by you (separated with comas) with their specific schedule and time-out. If the call isn't taken on these numbers too, it will advance to point 5, the voicemail.
Upload your unavailable message. Set up the e-mail address used to receive notification of new voicemails. Also you can choose if you want your voicemails to be sent on e-mail as attachments or not.
